An A in hand, and the whole class is impressed, but before that came long evenings of studying. Four drops of Roman chamomile open with soft apple sweetness that lightens your mood, three drops of cedarwood add steady dry wood, and two drops of tea tree bring a clean green streak. Great for a study desk in the evening before an exam. For more alertness, add a drop of rosemary.

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
