Blend recipes · Easy breathing
Star anise leads, and the whole room suddenly smells like a kitchen during Tet, the Lunar New Year. The sweet, spicy warmth of anise is opened up by eucalyptus, while tea tree adds a clean green edge so the blend never feels heavy. Great for cold evenings, the living room after dinner or days you miss home. If the anise feels too loud for you, use 1 drop less star anise and 1 drop more eucalyptus.

On opening. Eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Star anise (sweet and warm, reminiscent of pho broth and Tet sweets) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
