Blend recipes · Summer fresh

solo island escape

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · code BL-2967

Lavender and lime in equal parts, one soft and calm, the other fresh and bright, with eucalyptus adding an airy sea breeze. It smells like a morning alone on a tiny island with nobody calling. Great for a bedroom on the weekend, the bathtub or a small meditation corner. Turn off your phone, run the diffuser for 30 minutes and just listen to ocean sounds.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Lavender 3 · Lime 3 · Eucalyptus 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

Lavender 11 · Lime 11 · Eucalyptus 8 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use solo island escape in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 3 · Lime 3 · Eucalyptus 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use solo island escape?
Use it at midday, in hot rooms, or after coming in from outside; you can also mix a room spray for a quick cool-down.
