Peppermint and eucalyptus sit equally, icy and airy, and a single drop of lavender softens things. When the fan stops dead at noon, this cool scent makes the room feel a bit more bearable. Drip it onto a damp towel draped over the back of a chair, or use a battery-powered diffuser, and open windows on both sides so the breeze can flow through the room.

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
