Lemon makes up almost the whole recipe, bright, tart and clean; cinnamon is just a single drop but warms up the entire scent, like a cup of lemon cinnamon tea late at night. Good for the living room or kitchen on slow cold-season evenings. Start the diffuser once you finish tidying up; for more warmth, add 1 drop of cinnamon, but never more than 2 drops.

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Cinnamon can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
