skin's day off

4 oils · Floral · Herbal · code BL-0173

Hair in a bun, bare skin, spotless house. Neroli, tea tree, geranium and lavender split evenly at five drops each: delicate white flowers, clean green leaves, fresh green rose and soft purple herbs. The scent is neat and bright, perfect for a bedroom or a freshly cleaned bathroom. For a regular diffuser, use 1 to 2 drops of each; if tea tree isn't your thing, cut it to 1 drop.

How it unfolds

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Neroli (white-floral, honeyed and clear); geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use skin's day off in a diffuser?
Add Neroli 2 · Tea Tree 2 · Geranium 2 · Lavender 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of neroli?
Swap neroli for ylang ylang or Roman chamomile — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: ylang ylang is rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral.
When is the best time to use skin's day off?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
