sitting still, looking expensive

4 oils · Floral · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0918

Just sitting still and somehow feeling far more elegant. Four drops of sandalwood open with a smooth, creamy wood base, frankincense adds clear resin, and neroli and ylang ylang scatter delicate white blossoms and rich, sweet florals. This blend suits a living room for hosting friends or an afternoon tea corner. Tip: start the diffuser about fifteen minutes before your guests arrive.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Neroli (white-floral, honeyed and clear); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting); frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

FAQ

How do I use sitting still, looking expensive in a diffuser?
Add Sandalwood 4 · Frankincense 2 · Neroli 2 · Ylang Ylang 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of sandalwood?
Swap sandalwood for cedarwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use sitting still, looking expensive?
Use it while meditating, doing yoga, journaling, or simply sitting still for 10 minutes without your phone.
