single and thriving summer

4 oils · Floral · Herbal · Woody · code BL-2998

Geranium takes up almost the whole recipe, so the fresh green-leaf rose scent is front and center. Clary sage adds a warm herbal layer, while cypress and fennel bring an unexpected green twist, very free-spirited. Great for your own room on a summer afternoon when you are spoiling yourself a little. Mix a big bottle and use 5 drops each time; if the fennel feels unusual, cut it to two drops.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced); clary sage (sweet, herbal, slightly musky and unhurried); cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood); fennel (sweet and herbal with a little anise) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use single and thriving summer in a diffuser?
Add Geranium 6 · Clary Sage 1 · Cypress 1 · Fennel 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of geranium?
Swap geranium for lavender or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: lavender is floral-herbal, clean and soothing.
When is the best time to use single and thriving summer?
Use it at midday, in hot rooms, or after coming in from outside; you can also mix a room spray for a quick cool-down.
