Spearmint and geranium sit equally, sweet coolness meeting green rose; lemon and fennel follow, bright tartness and a slightly sweet spice. An unusual pairing that helps a tense meeting room feel calmer. Mix a bottle ahead and take 4 drops for the diffuser 10 minutes before the meeting; for a fresher version, add 3 more drops of lemon.

On opening. Spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum); lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced); fennel (sweet and herbal with a little anise) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
