Blend recipes · Easy breathing

scary-good airflow

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · code BL-2180

Airy to the point of scary, just like the name says. Lime leads with a slightly bitter, very elegant citrus peel, eucalyptus radiata opens soft and cool, and thyme holds a warm, spicy herbal base. Great for a home office or the living room of a small apartment. Turn on the diffuser around noon, when the room starts to feel stuffy.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh); eucalyptus radiata (gently cool, softer than classic eucalyptus) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Lime 3 · Eucalyptus Radiata 2 · Thyme 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

Lime 2 · Eucalyptus Radiata 1 · Thyme 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Lime 13 · Eucalyptus Radiata 9 · Thyme 9 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

Safety

Photosensitizing Skin irritant

Lime can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Thyme can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use scary-good airflow in a diffuser?
Add Lime 3 · Eucalyptus Radiata 2 · Thyme 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lime?
Swap lime for lemon or sweet orange — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use scary-good airflow?
Use it in closed rooms, on humid days, in monsoon season or after long hours of air conditioning — diffuse in short 20–30 minute runs.
