refresh for eyes and brain

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · Minty · code BL-1274

Six drops of lemon lead, bright and clean like a freshly wiped window. Spearmint backs it up with sweet coolness, while ylang-ylang adds a soft layer of yellow flowers that takes the edge off the tartness. Great for anyone staring at a screen for hours who needs a pleasant scent to change the air. Tip: after every 50 minutes of work, look away from the screen and take a few breaths near the diffuser.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use refresh for eyes and brain in a diffuser?
Add Lemon 6 · Spearmint 2 · Ylang Ylang 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lemon?
Swap lemon for sweet orange or bergamot — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: sweet orange is ripe, sweet, cheerful and round.
When is the best time to use refresh for eyes and brain?
Best in the morning, early afternoon, or right after a nap; avoid using it close to bedtime.
