post-trek collapse

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Woody · code BL-0588

Back from trekking, legs sore, head still full of forest scenes. Juniper and cypress bring home conifer needles and berries, lemon adds crisp fresh peel, and geranium softens it with green rose. The four oils split ten drops each, a big batch to keep on hand. Use about 6 drops each time, perfect for the bedroom on the night you get back.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Juniper (green and berry-like, with clean resinous wood); geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced); cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use post-trek collapse in a diffuser?
Add Juniper 2 · Lemon 2 · Geranium 2 · Cypress 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of juniper?
Swap juniper for cedarwood or sandalwood — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use post-trek collapse?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
