post-shower self-love

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · code BL-0419

Just three drops, one of each, so the scent is as light as steam lingering on the mirror. Sweet, fresh mandarin pops up first, neroli follows with an elegant, slightly bitter white-flower note, and lavender stays longest, clean and soft. Made for that moment of wrapping up in a towel, putting on lotion and paying yourself a compliment. In a small bathroom, switch on the diffuser as you walk in; by the time you're done, it smells just right.

How it unfolds

On opening. Mandarin (gently sweet, softer than orange) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); neroli (white-floral, honeyed and clear) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Lavender 1 · Mandarin 1 · Neroli 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Lavender 2 · Mandarin 2 · Neroli 2 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Lavender 10 · Mandarin 10 · Neroli 10 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use post-shower self-love in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 1 · Mandarin 1 · Neroli 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use post-shower self-love?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
