Spent the whole paycheck? Stay home and mix yourself a cheerful scent. Five drops of pink pepper open with a light, pinkish spice and a hint of berries; lavender and Roman chamomile follow to soften it, leaving a finish of purple flowers and apple tea. Good for an end-of-month night in with an old movie. If the pink pepper stands out too much, drop one drop and add one drop of lavender.

On opening. Pink pepper (lightly spicy, sparkling and berry-like) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
