no more rambling

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · Woody · code BL-1072

No more rambling; back to the main task. Three drops of cypress open with cool needles, two drops of lime add a sharp green tang, and two drops of ylang ylang spread sweet florals so the blend doesn't feel too dry. Great for a study desk or work desk when your mind keeps wandering. If you need to be more alert, reduce ylang ylang to one drop.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser
Cypress 3 · Lime 2 · Ylang Ylang 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

FAQ

How do I use no more rambling in a diffuser?
Add Cypress 3 · Lime 2 · Ylang Ylang 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cypress?
Swap cypress for cedarwood or sandalwood — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use no more rambling?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
