At home, bare-faced is the way. Lavender, lemon, frankincense and myrrh split evenly at five drops each: clean herbs, bright lemon peel, warm resin and a deep, slightly woody base. The scent is balanced and neat, perfect for the living room or bedroom in the morning. For a regular diffuser, use 1 to 2 drops of each; lemon fades quickly, so after half an hour you can add 1 drop to keep it fresh.

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still); myrrh (bittersweet, resinous, deep and classic) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
