Five oils at three drops each, for a scent that is both cool and cozy. Lemongrass, peppermint and tea tree handle the fresh, clean part, while lavender and Roman chamomile pull it into a softly sweet, easy finish for getting into bed. Switch on the diffuser as you start brushing your teeth and switch it off once you lie down. If the minty tingle keeps you up, use 1 drop less peppermint.

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
