Lavender comes first, mellow like a friendly hello; then tea tree, peppermint and lemongrass rush in with three shades of sharp green, cool tingle and fresh tang. Good for the living room or home office in peak mosquito season, when you want the air both soothing and alert. The 17–18h window (5 to 6 pm) is ideal for diffusing; for the bedroom, cut peppermint to 4 drops for a softer feel.

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
