night market snacking

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Herbal · Minty · code BL-2602

The night market is lively, warm lights glowing, and mosquitoes never miss the party. Lavender and lemongrass split the top evenly, soft florals meeting fresh tang; peppermint brings a cool tingle and thyme a touch of warm herbs. Dilute into a mini spray and mist your hems, ankles and crossbody bag before you go. A 10 ml pocket bottle is just right for one evening.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Skin irritant

FAQ

How do I use night market snacking in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 3 · Lemongrass 3 · Peppermint 2 · Thyme 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use night market snacking?
Diffuse it on the balcony, porch or in the bedroom in the evening; keep the window screens shut for best results.
