Lemongrass leads with a crisp, tangy freshness; the other four, one drop each, thyme, basil, peppermint and lavender, form a layer of herbs that is cool, lightly spicy and soft. Made for Saturday night rides along the river, breezy but buggy. Dilute into a mini spray and mist your pant legs and gloves before you pedal off; never spray your face.

On opening. Lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice); basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemongrass and Thyme can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
