Blend recipes · Easy breathing

mountain air, a bit aloof

3 oils · Citrus · Minty · Woody · code BL-2085

A little cool, a little classy. Cedarwood lays an elegant dry-wood base, lime adds a slightly bitter citrus peel, and peppermint dusts a layer of cool snow on top. Great for a minimalist office, the bedroom or a reading nook in winter. Want this aloof prince a bit warmer? Swap 1 drop of peppermint for 1 drop of cedarwood so the wood feels cozier.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Cedarwood 3 · Lime 2 · Peppermint 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Cedarwood 2 · Lime 1 · Peppermint 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Cedarwood 13 · Lime 9 · Peppermint 9 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use mountain air, a bit aloof in a diffuser?
Add Cedarwood 3 · Lime 2 · Peppermint 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cedarwood?
Swap cedarwood for sandalwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: sandalwood is creamy, smooth and long-lasting.
When is the best time to use mountain air, a bit aloof?
Use it in closed rooms, on humid days, in monsoon season or after long hours of air conditioning — diffuse in short 20–30 minute runs.
