Blend recipes · Summer fresh

melting the second I step out

3 oils · Citrus · Minty · Tea · code BL-3226

Iced lemon-mint tea, cool from your nose down to your heart.

You melt the moment you step outside, so home needs to cool you down fast: clean green tea, lightly tart lemon and sweet, minty spearmint, like an iced lemon-mint tea that cools you from your nose down to your heart. Great for the living room, a bedroom during the day or a sun-facing office. Start the diffuser as soon as you get home, and splash your face with cool water.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Green tea (fresh, a little grassy and clean) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Method

Diffuser

FAQ

How do I use melting the second I step out in a diffuser?
Add Green Tea 3 · Lemon 2 · Spearmint 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of green tea?
Swap green tea for white tea or black tea — same tea family. The blend will shift a little: white tea is light and clean with a floral whisper.
When is the best time to use melting the second I step out?
Use it at midday, in hot rooms, or after coming in from outside; you can also mix a room spray for a quick cool-down.
