low-key but solid

3 oils · Herbal · Woody · code BL-1883

Not loud, but full of taste: dry, warm cedarwood takes charge, sandalwood lays a smooth layer, and two drops of tea tree add a clean, slightly sharp note like a freshly washed shirt. Perfect for people who dress simply in good fabrics. Mix the ten drops in a roller bottle with carrier oil and apply to your wrists; add more sandalwood for a warmer, longer-lasting scent.

How it unfolds

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings); sandalwood (creamy, smooth and long-lasting) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Cedarwood 5 · Sandalwood 3 · Tea Tree 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Cedarwood 2 · Sandalwood 2 · Tea Tree 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Cedarwood 15 · Sandalwood 9 · Tea Tree 6 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use low-key but solid in a diffuser?
Add Cedarwood 5 · Sandalwood 3 · Tea Tree 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cedarwood?
Swap cedarwood for patchouli or cypress — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: patchouli is like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet.
When is the best time to use low-key but solid?
Diffuse it in a room, or mix a roller to dab on your wrists (diluted in a carrier oil).
