4 oils · Floral · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0986

Lights off, candles lit, the room bathed in warm golden light. Five drops of cedarwood lay a dry wood base, frankincense and lavender add warm resin and gentle herbs, and three drops of ylang ylang spread rich, sweet florals. Perfect for a romantic evening or some solo downtime. Keep the diffuser away from the candle flame and keep the room ventilated.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings); frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

FAQ

How do I use lights out, candles on in a diffuser?
Add Cedarwood 2 · Frankincense 2 · Lavender 2 · Ylang Ylang 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of cedarwood?
Swap cedarwood for sandalwood or patchouli — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: sandalwood is creamy, smooth and long-lasting.
When is the best time to use lights out, candles on?
Use it while meditating, doing yoga, journaling, or simply sitting still for 10 minutes without your phone.
