let the irritation wash away

3 oils · Floral · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0492

Let your irritation slip away like water through your fingers. Palmarosa opens with rose blended with fresh grass, frankincense at two drops pulls the scent into deep resin, and a single drop of lavender closes gently. Good for the bathroom after a day full of friction, or at your desk at the end of the workday. For a stronger version in the living room, double the recipe and run it for 30 minutes.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Palmarosa (sweet and grassy with a rosy note); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Palmarosa 2 · Frankincense 2 · Lavender 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Palmarosa 2 · Frankincense 2 · Lavender 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Palmarosa 12 · Frankincense 12 · Lavender 6 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use let the irritation wash away in a diffuser?
Add Palmarosa 2 · Frankincense 2 · Lavender 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of palmarosa?
Swap palmarosa for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use let the irritation wash away?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
