Blend recipes · Summer fresh

just back from the road

3 oils · Floral · Herbal · code BL-2932

Tea tree, geranium and rosemary in equal parts: a clean, green, slightly herbal scent, like opening your suitcase after a long trip. Geranium softens the sharp edges of tea tree and rosemary. Great for a bedroom you just came home to, when both the air and your clothes need freshening up. Switch on the diffuser while you unpack, and open the window for about ten minutes.

How it unfolds

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use just back from the road in a diffuser?
Add Tea Tree 2 · Geranium 2 · Rosemary 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of tea tree?
Swap tea tree for eucalyptus or clary sage — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: eucalyptus is strong, cool and wide open.
When is the best time to use just back from the road?
Use it at midday, in hot rooms, or after coming in from outside; you can also mix a room spray for a quick cool-down.
