Blend recipes · Summer fresh

italian summer, no passport

3 oils · Citrus · Woody · code BL-2947

Lemon, bergamot and cypress in equal parts, like a glass of limoncello beside a row of cypress trees on the Italian coast. The opening is radiant, then it settles into a dry green-wood note, very elegant. Nice for the home office, a small entryway or a weekend lunch. Add one drop of bergamot for a softer scent with more depth.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use italian summer, no passport in a diffuser?
Add Lemon 2 · Bergamot 2 · Cypress 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lemon?
Swap lemon for sweet orange or lemongrass — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: sweet orange is ripe, sweet, cheerful and round.
When is the best time to use italian summer, no passport?
Use it at midday, in hot rooms, or after coming in from outside; you can also mix a room spray for a quick cool-down.
