iced coffee on the porch

3 oils · Citrus · Floral · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0185

Sitting on the balcony with an iced milk coffee, watching the street go by. Rich coffee leads, lemon pops up with a fresh tang that opens the scent up, and one drop of ylang-ylang adds a sweet, creamy floral note like condensed milk. A fun, slightly unusual blend, perfect for a balcony or a window corner in the morning. Put the diffuser somewhere a bit sheltered from the wind so the scent doesn't blow away too fast.

How it unfolds

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Coffee (dark-roasted and warm) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Coffee 3 · Lemon 2 · Ylang Ylang 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

FAQ

How do I use iced coffee on the porch in a diffuser?
Add Coffee 3 · Lemon 2 · Ylang Ylang 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of coffee?
Swap coffee for frankincense or vanilla — same resinous & sweet family. The blend will shift a little: frankincense is resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still.
When is the best time to use iced coffee on the porch?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
