grandma's garden in the rain

4 oils · Floral · Warm spice · code BL-2636

Geranium and ylang-ylang open a sweet flower garden, lavender softens, and cinnamon at the end adds warm spice like grandma's kitchen. A warm floral scent with little grassiness, good for the living room or bedroom when visiting family in the countryside in summer. After dinner is the right time; ylang-ylang and cinnamon are both strong, so in small rooms use 2 drops less of each.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use grandma's garden in the rain in a diffuser?
Add Geranium 3 · Ylang Ylang 2 · Lavender 2 · Cinnamon 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of geranium?
Swap geranium for Roman chamomile or rose — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: Roman chamomile is like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow.
When is the best time to use grandma's garden in the rain?
Diffuse it on the balcony, porch or in the bedroom in the evening; keep the window screens shut for best results.
