giddy for no reason

4 oils · Citrus · Resinous & sweet · code BL-1403

Giddy about something, though you're not quite sure what. Sweet orange and frankincense split it evenly at five drops each, juicy orange blended with warm resin; four drops of bergamot add elegance, and three drops of lemongrass bring a touch of fresh lemony grass. A large living room or a small office on a good-news day both suit it. Frankincense helps the scent last, so you can switch off the diffuser after 30 minutes.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use giddy for no reason in a diffuser?
Add Sweet Orange 2 · Frankincense 2 · Bergamot 2 · Lemongrass 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of sweet orange?
Swap sweet orange for lemon or lime — same citrus family. The blend will shift a little: lemon is fresh, bright and clean.
When is the best time to use giddy for no reason?
Use it when guests are coming, on weekends, after tidying the house, or whenever you want a little good mood.
