Blend recipes · Energy & alertness
Fully charged before eight in the morning, ready before you even reach the office. Eucalyptus and lemongrass, three drops each, make a pair of airy coolness and vivid fresh tang, and two drops of bergamot add clean citrus. Great for a bedroom or kitchen while you get ready to head out. If the lemongrass feels a bit strong, reduce it to two drops and add one drop of sweet orange.

On opening. Eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open); lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
