Sweet, cool spearmint and dry, herbal thyme split evenly at ten drops each, giving a cold, clean feeling like surfacing from the pool. Fresh and energizing, it's perfect for summer: towel around your neck, sunshine on your shoulders. Premix the 20-drop batch; if using a roller bottle, dilute it well since thyme is fairly strong, or use 4 drops in a bathroom diffuser.

On opening. Spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Thyme can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
