Payday has arrived, and the scent should feel just as bright and breezy. Basil leads, sweet and a little spicy; lemongrass, spearmint and thyme, one drop each, add lemony grass, sweet coolness and warm herbs. Use it for a small work corner, or in the car on a shopping trip around town. For rooms bigger than 15m², double everything; keep the thyme at the minimum since it tends to dominate.

On opening. Lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise); thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemongrass and Thyme can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
