forest bathing at home

3 oils · Citrus · Woody · code BL-0212

No need to head into the forest; just open the window and switch on the diffuser. Juniper leads with fresh green conifer, pine adds warm pine resin, and bergamot sprinkles fresh citrus like sunlight through the canopy. The scent is fresh and airy, perfect for a living room full of plants. Sit next to the diffuser, close your eyes and breathe slowly for 10 minutes, as if strolling through the woods.

How it unfolds

On opening. Bergamot (light citrus with a floral edge, Earl Grey style) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Juniper (green and berry-like, with clean resinous wood); pine (green and resinous, like a forest walk) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

Safety

Photosensitizing

Bergamot can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.

Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.

FAQ

How do I use forest bathing at home in a diffuser?
Add Juniper 4 · Bergamot 3 · Pine 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of juniper?
Swap juniper for cedarwood or sandalwood — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use forest bathing at home?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
