fired up like a prizefighter

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Resinous & sweet · code BL-1218

Fired up like a prizefighter and ready for any challenge. Three drops of basil open green and spicy-sweet, two drops of sweet orange add cheerful freshness, and two drops of frankincense lay a warm resin base that keeps the enthusiasm from turning into a short temper. Great the morning before a match or a big meeting. Add a drop of peppermint if you want even more fire.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Basil 3 · Sweet Orange 2 · Frankincense 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

FAQ

How do I use fired up like a prizefighter in a diffuser?
Add Basil 3 · Sweet Orange 2 · Frankincense 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of basil?
Swap basil for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use fired up like a prizefighter?
Best in the morning, early afternoon, or right after a nap; avoid using it close to bedtime.
