feet on the ground, flight over

4 oils · Floral · Herbal · Woody · code BL-0160

After a long flight, it only feels real once your feet touch your own floor. Roman chamomile opens soft and gentle, ylang-ylang adds sweet yellow flowers, and cypress and rosemary contribute green wood and fresh herbs. The scent is grounded yet airy, perfect for the bedroom after a long trip. Turn on the diffuser, take off your shoes, and lie on the floor for ten minutes before unpacking.

How it unfolds

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral); cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use feet on the ground, flight over in a diffuser?
Add Roman Chamomile 3 · Ylang Ylang 2 · Cypress 2 · Rosemary 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of Roman chamomile?
Swap Roman chamomile for lavender or geranium — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: lavender is floral-herbal, clean and soothing.
When is the best time to use feet on the ground, flight over?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
