Blend recipes · Summer fresh

exam season, no sweat

4 oils · Citrus · Floral · Woody · code BL-2911

Lavender, juniper, sweet orange and cypress in equal parts create a scent that is both sweet and green like evergreen needles, tidy and composed. Perfect for a summer study room, when the heat makes everything feel stuffy. Little tip: start the diffuser ten minutes before studying, then leave it on intermittent mode for the whole session so your nose doesn't get used to it too quickly.

How it unfolds

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); juniper (green and berry-like, with clean resinous wood); cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use exam season, no sweat in a diffuser?
Add Lavender 2 · Juniper 2 · Sweet Orange 2 · Cypress 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of lavender?
Swap lavender for geranium or ylang ylang — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: geranium is green and rosy, fresh and balanced.
When is the best time to use exam season, no sweat?
Use it at midday, in hot rooms, or after coming in from outside; you can also mix a room spray for a quick cool-down.
