It's not even December yet, but you already want to decorate the tree. Three drops of cinnamon are warm and sweetly spicy, two drops of sweet orange are juicy and fresh, and two drops of ylang-ylang add a layer of sweet yellow florals like sparkly ornaments. A rainy afternoon in the living room is the best time to turn it on. Cinnamon is quite strong, so in a small room cut it to 2 drops to let the orange shine.

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Cinnamon can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
