dressed up with taste

5 oils · Floral · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-2031

Rose and geranium split evenly at forty drops each, vibrant pink like a closet full of dresses, frankincense adds a luxurious resin, and ylang ylang and patchouli make the scent sweet and deep. Fashionable, but with real taste. Mix the 122-drop batch in a large bottle and rest it a week; decant it into a roller bottle to use over time.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Rose (deep, silky and luxurious); geranium (green and rosy, fresh and balanced); ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still); patchouli (like damp earth and dark wood, deeply sweet) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Rose 3 · Geranium 3 · Frankincense 1 · Ylang Ylang 1 · Patchouli 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.

50 ml room spray
Rose 10 · Geranium 10 · Frankincense 5 · Ylang Ylang 3 · Patchouli 2 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use dressed up with taste in a diffuser?
Add Rose 3 · Geranium 3 · Frankincense 1 · Ylang Ylang 1 · Patchouli 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of rose?
Swap rose for lavender or Roman chamomile — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: lavender is floral-herbal, clean and soothing.
When is the best time to use dressed up with taste?
Diffuse it in a room, or mix a roller to dab on your wrists (diluted in a carrier oil).
