Lavender opens like the purple fields of southern France, lemon follows bright and tart like lemonade on a Mediterranean shore, and a single drop of basil is like the leaves on a plate of pasta. Good for the living room or bedroom while you daydream about a trip to Europe. Start the diffuser as you scroll through travel photos; for a fresher version, add 1 drop of lemon.

On opening. Lemon (fresh, bright and clean) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lemon can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
