cool after-sun evening

4 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Minty · Resinous & sweet · code BL-2844

Back from the beach, skin hot and body worn out. Spearmint, frankincense, rosemary and sweet orange in equal parts: sweet cool, soft resin, green herbs and cheerful orange. A pleasant scent for a restful evening after a sunny day. Mix a bottle ahead and take 5 drops for the bedroom diffuser; never apply it directly to freshly sunburned skin.

How it unfolds

On opening. Spearmint (sweet and cool, softer than peppermint, with a hint of chewing gum); rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

FAQ

How do I use cool after-sun evening in a diffuser?
Add Spearmint 2 · Frankincense 2 · Rosemary 2 · Sweet Orange 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of spearmint?
Swap spearmint for peppermint — same minty family. The blend will shift a little: peppermint is cool, sharp and clean.
When is the best time to use cool after-sun evening?
Use it at midday, in hot rooms, or after coming in from outside; you can also mix a room spray for a quick cool-down.
