interview prep night

3 oils · Citrus · Herbal · Resinous & sweet · code BL-1043

Interview tomorrow, so tonight you're prepping your answers. Three drops of rosemary help keep your mind alert, two drops of sweet orange bring a cheerful freshness to calm the jitters, and a single drop of frankincense keeps a warm, steady base. Great for a bedroom or study desk while you practice speaking in front of the mirror. The next morning, run the same recipe for a few minutes before you leave home.

How it unfolds

On opening. Rosemary (cool, green, herbal and invigorating); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sinks in and lingers after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Rosemary 3 · Sweet Orange 2 · Frankincense 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Rosemary 2 · Sweet Orange 2 · Frankincense 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Rosemary 15 · Sweet Orange 10 · Frankincense 5 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use interview prep night in a diffuser?
Add Rosemary 3 · Sweet Orange 2 · Frankincense 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of rosemary?
Swap rosemary for eucalyptus or tea tree — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: eucalyptus is strong, cool and wide open.
When is the best time to use interview prep night?
Run it at your desk or study corner in cycles of 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off, so your nose does not tune the scent out.
