Summer at your grandparents' place in the countryside, with its lime trees and fresh herbs. Four drops of lime are tart, green and super fresh, three drops of basil bring spicy-sweet leaves, and one drop of cinnamon is warm like a wood-fired kitchen. This blend feels very Vietnamese, great for the kitchen, living room or balcony. Cinnamon is strong, so exactly 1 drop is enough; if you prefer a garden scent, add more basil.

On opening. Lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise); cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lime can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Cinnamon can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
