calm as a sleeping puppy

3 oils · Floral · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0841

Calm like a puppy fast asleep after a play session: soft, warm, and worry-free. Roman chamomile opens with sweet green apple, cedarwood follows with pleasant dry wood, and frankincense adds warm resin at the end. Nice for the bedroom or living room in the evening, and for days you just want to sprawl on the sofa. With pets at home, keep the diffuser in an airy spot and leave a door open so they can choose where to be.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Roman chamomile (like ripe apple and dry hay, soft and mellow) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Cedarwood (dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings); frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Roman Chamomile 2 · Cedarwood 2 · Frankincense 1 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Roman Chamomile 2 · Cedarwood 2 · Frankincense 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Roman Chamomile 12 · Cedarwood 12 · Frankincense 6 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use calm as a sleeping puppy in a diffuser?
Add Roman Chamomile 2 · Cedarwood 2 · Frankincense 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of Roman chamomile?
Swap Roman chamomile for lavender or geranium — same floral family. The blend will shift a little: lavender is floral-herbal, clean and soothing.
When is the best time to use calm as a sleeping puppy?
Use it while meditating, doing yoga, journaling, or simply sitting still for 10 minutes without your phone.
