brand-new bedsheets

4 oils · Floral · Herbal · Minty · code BL-0439

This big batch is for homes that love a clean, put-together smell. Tea tree, lavender and peppermint are neck and neck, opening with a green, cool, very airy rush; thyme adds a little warm spice of dried herbs on the lower layer. Good for the hallway, living room, or a room that just hosted guests. Mix it ahead in a bottle, use 5 to 6 drops each time, and remember to crack a window so the air keeps moving.

How it unfolds

On opening. Tea tree (green, medicinal and clean); peppermint (cool, sharp and clean) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.

As it settles. Lavender (floral-herbal, clean and soothing); thyme (warm, dry and herbal with a touch of spice) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.

What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.

FAQ

How do I use brand-new bedsheets in a diffuser?
Add Tea Tree 2 · Lavender 2 · Peppermint 2 · Thyme 1 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of tea tree?
Swap tea tree for rosemary or eucalyptus — same herbal family. The blend will shift a little: rosemary is cool, green, herbal and invigorating.
When is the best time to use brand-new bedsheets?
Use it at the end of the day, on weekends, while reading or right after a shower — whenever you want everything to slow down a beat.
