When inspiration hits, do it now, not tomorrow. Two drops of lemongrass open with a vivid, fresh tang, while lime and basil, one drop each, add a sharp green zing and sweet spice. A small, zesty recipe for a desk in the morning or the kitchen when you're trying a new dish. This scent fades quickly; add a drop of cedarwood to make it linger.

On opening. Lemongrass (fresh, green and clean); lime (zesty, gently tart and very fresh) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Basil (sweet and green with a hint of anise) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Lime can make skin sensitive to sunlight when applied topically — avoid sun and tanning beds for 12 hours after applying.
Lemongrass can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
