barefoot on the floor

3 oils · Woody · Resinous & sweet · code BL-0867

Kick off your slippers, stand barefoot on the floor, and feel the ground beneath you. Juniper opens green, resinous, and fresh, while frankincense and myrrh settle into a warm, deep base that brings earth and wood to mind. Made for standing meditation, morning yoga, or tending potted plants on the balcony. For a deeper evening version, add a drop of myrrh.

How it unfolds

As it settles. Juniper (green and berry-like, with clean resinous wood) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.

What remains. Frankincense (resinous with a light lemony note, deep and still); myrrh (bittersweet, resinous, deep and classic) sink in and linger after the diffuser is off.

Method

Diffuser
Juniper 3 · Frankincense 2 · Myrrh 2 drops in 200–300 ml of water. Run for 30–60 minutes, then take a break.
10 ml roller
Juniper 2 · Frankincense 1 · Myrrh 1 drops, then top up with a carrier oil (jojoba or sweet almond). Dab on wrists and the back of the neck.
50 ml room spray
Juniper 13 · Frankincense 9 · Myrrh 9 drops + 1 teaspoon of food-grade alcohol, then top up with distilled water. Shake before spraying.

FAQ

How do I use barefoot on the floor in a diffuser?
Add Juniper 3 · Frankincense 2 · Myrrh 2 drops to 200–300 ml of water. In a room under 15 m², use 1–2 drops less; in a room over 25 m², add 1 more drop of the main oil.
What can I use instead of juniper?
Swap juniper for cedarwood or sandalwood — same woody family. The blend will shift a little: cedarwood is dry and warm, like a wooden chest and pencil shavings.
When is the best time to use barefoot on the floor?
Use it while meditating, doing yoga, journaling, or simply sitting still for 10 minutes without your phone.
