Ylang-ylang opens sweet, quite a surprise for a cooling blend; peppermint and eucalyptus follow equally, tingly and airy. Cool with a touch of florals, good for the home office or living room at noon in the blazing sun. Start the diffuser when you switch on the fan; for a cooler scent, cut ylang-ylang to 2 drops.

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Ylang ylang (rich, creamy, tropical and sweetly floral) forms the body of the scent and stays longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
