When the AC dies in the middle of June, call on peppermint: minty-cool from the very first breath. Sweet orange adds a cheerful sweetness so your mood doesn't sink too, and eucalyptus makes the air feel more open. Good for a bedroom or a temporary workspace. Open windows on opposite sides for cross-ventilation, place a bowl of ice in front of the fan, then run the diffuser nearby.

On opening. Peppermint (cool, sharp and clean); sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round); eucalyptus (strong, cool and wide open) rise first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
