Cinnamon opens sweet and spicy like pumpkin pastries in a great hall, sweet orange adds cheer, and cypress closes with green needles like the forest outside a castle window. Good for the bedroom or sofa on evenings spent rereading that beloved wizard series. Start the diffuser as you open the first book; cinnamon is fairly strong, so in rooms under 15 m² cut it to 3 drops.

On opening. Sweet orange (ripe, sweet, cheerful and round) rises first, clearest in the first 10–15 minutes.
As it settles. Cinnamon (spicy-sweet, hot and warm); cypress (fresh, dry and clean like conifer wood) form the body of the scent and stay longest in the room.
What remains. With no woody or resin base note, this blend fades fairly quickly — switch it on again after 1–2 hours to keep the room scented.
Cinnamon can irritate skin — dilute well and patch-test on a small area first.
Do not use for children under 6, during pregnancy, or if you have a health condition without asking a professional first. Never ingest essential oils; keep them out of reach of children and pets.
